of design experience.

DC MetalWorks provides true ground-up product development using SolidWorks Premium. We can begin with an idea, sketch, existing component, or performance requirement and develop the parts and assemblies needed to make it real.

That design experience is connected directly to our fabrication floor. We do not stop at a model or drawing—we can build the prototype, evaluate it, refine it, and scale the approved design into repeatable production.

01 / DESIGN

Ground-up product design

With more than 15 years of design experience and SolidWorks Premium, DC MetalWorks can develop individual components, multi-part products, fixtures, and full-scale assemblies from the ground up. We design with real manufacturing in mind—material choice, bend strategy, weld access, tolerances, assembly sequence, serviceability, and repeat production.

Bring us a concept, sketch, sample, existing part, CAD file, or a problem that needs solving. We can turn it into a clear, production-ready design.

02 / PROTOTYPE

Prototype, test & refine

A good production design is proven before it is multiplied. We can manufacture working prototypes, check fit and function, identify improvements, and revise the model and drawings before full production begins.

The result is a better product, fewer surprises on the floor, and a smoother transition from the first build to repeatable manufacturing.

03 / PRODUCTION

Parts to complete assemblies

Once the design is approved, DC MetalWorks can scale it from individual components to full fabricated assemblies. Our cutting, forming, welding, fixturing, finishing, and assembly capabilities support one-off equipment, short runs, and ongoing production requirements.
